Viral Loops + Stripe
Connect Stripe and a referred friend's payment counts as a conversion, with its value. Rewards go back through Stripe as credit on the customer's balance or as a coupon by email, when you redeem them.

What syncs between Viral Loops and Stripe?
A payment counts as a referral, and rewards land as credit or coupons.
Viral Loops to Stripe
Credit balance- A cash reward, added as credit on the customer's balance
Coupon- A coupon reward, sent to them by email
Stripe to Viral Loops
Payments- A referred friend's payment or purchase converts them
Products- All your products, or only the ones you choose
Value- The product's price, added to the conversion value
Invoices- Invoice totals and subscription charges, with no code
Rewards go out when you click Redeem in Rewards Management. Stripe credit sits on the customer's balance; it isn't a bank payout.
What can you do with Stripe and Viral Loops?

Count a referral when the friend pays
Make a payment in Stripe the step that completes a referral, so it only counts once the friend buys. Track every product, or only the ones you choose.

Pay rewards as account credit
Set a reward as cash. When you redeem it, the amount shows as credit on the customer's balance in Stripe, not as a bank payout.

Or send a coupon
Prefer a discount? Set the reward as a coupon, and it's sent by email when you redeem it.
How do you connect Stripe?

Choose the goal
In the Goals step, choose Successful after Primary Action and Additional Step, then Use Stripe.

Connect Stripe
Enable Stripe Conversion Tracking and click Connect Stripe. This installs the Viral Loops app in your Stripe account.

Pick the products
Continue with all products, or choose the ones that count. Value Tracking is on by default.

Connect rewards
On the campaign dashboard, open Rewards Management, click Connect, choose Stripe and authorize it. Set each reward as cash or a coupon.

Redeem to send
When a reward is earned, click Redeem and confirm. Stripe adds the credit or the coupon goes out.

What counts as a conversion in Stripe?
A referred friend's payment or purchase, for all your products or only the ones you choose. Invoice totals and subscription charges count without custom code.
How are rewards paid through Stripe?
As cash, which shows as credit on the customer's balance in Stripe, or as a coupon sent by email. Stripe credit isn't a bank payout.
When does Stripe send a reward?
When you redeem it. Open Rewards Management, click Redeem and confirm, and the credit or coupon goes out.
Does it track the value of each sale?
Yes. Value Tracking is on by default, so each product's price is added to the conversion value on your dashboard.
How do I disconnect Stripe?
Uninstall the Viral Loops app in Stripe, under Settings, Installed apps.
