How do widgets work?

    Pick the widgets you need

    In the Referrer step, joining widgets let people sign up: a Form on your page, or a Popup. Sharing widgets take over once they join: Progress Tracking, Referral URL, Sharing Options, Leaderboard, Stat and Milestone Rewards.

    Style them like your brand

    In the widget editor, set the background, border radius, fonts and buttons, or add your own CSS. The preview switches between Joining State and Sharing State: the form before Jay joins, and Jay's referral link after.

    Add one snippet

    Paste the loader script into your site's <head> once. Then place each widget where it should show, as one HTML tag, a WordPress block or a Webflow embed.

    Participants follow their progress

    Jay opens the Progress Tracking widget and sees the referrals in total, how many are successful and how many are still pending, with Maya R. on the list. The Rewards tab shows which rewards are redeemed and which are pending.

Do I need a developer to add the widgets?

No. Add a small piece of JavaScript to the pages where the program runs, then place each widget. A little HTML is enough, and on WordPress the Viral Loops plugin adds them as a block.

Which website builders do the widgets work with?

Any site where you can add a script and an HTML block. The help center has guides for WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, Framer, HubSpot Pages, Unbounce, Leadpages and Instapage, among others. In Webflow, the Embed component needs a paid Webflow account.

Do I need my own website?

No. In the Referrer step, choose Viral Loops Pages and the widgets go on a page hosted for you. You can also choose your website or your web app.

Can I use my own form?

Yes. Custom Form Integration is on every plan. For a design of your own from scratch, the JavaScript SDK (every plan) and the REST API (Plus and up) let you build it.

Can I remove the Powered by Viral Loops line?

Yes, on Growing and Power, with Remove Viral Loops Branding under the widget preview.
