Milestone Reached works with the Milestone Referral and Shopify templates, and the conversion triggers and Convert Participant with Milestone and Altruistic campaigns. New Referral Count counts sign-ups, not conversions.

    Activate Zapier

    In your campaign's Integrations step, switch on Zapier.

    Copy your API token

    Copy the campaign's secret API token from the Installation step.

  3. 3

    Connect in Zapier

    Choose Viral Loops in Zapier, paste the token and pick a trigger or an action.

    Test and turn on

    Test the Zap with a real participant, then turn it on.

Which Viral Loops triggers are on Zapier?

New Participant, New Referral Count, Milestone Reached, Reward Redeemed, New Conversion and New Conversion Count.

Can Zapier add people to my referral program?

Yes. The New Participant action adds anyone from another app, like a form or a CRM, with the referral code of whoever referred them. Email is required.

Why didn't my conversion count?

Convert Participant only counts when the person was referred by someone. Converting someone with no referrer does nothing.

Does it work with Shopify campaigns?

Yes. Ask our support team for the API token, since Shopify campaigns don't show one.
