Which properties does Viral Loops add to Klaviyo profiles?
sharingUrl (the referral link), referralCode, referrals (the referral count), checkReferrals and xreferrals. Leaderboard campaigns add rank, minRef, newRank, jumpPos and daysLeft.
How do I put the referral link in a Klaviyo email?
Use {{ person|lookup:'sharingUrl' }} in the email, and Klaviyo fills in each person's own link.
Are my existing Klaviyo contacts synced?
Only participants who join after you connect are synced automatically. To bring existing contacts in, import a list, or all contacts, from your Viral Loops dashboard.
Will importing send my welcome email?
It can. Imported contacts become participants, so check your campaign's welcome email before you import.
Should I turn off the Viral Loops emails?
If Klaviyo sends your referral emails, yes. Turn off the Viral Loops notifications so people don't get both.
